Job Title: Data Operations Team Lead
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid (Manchester Office & Remote)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Data Operations Team Lead to join our client's growing Data Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a small, dynamic team of data analysts and providing insightful analysis to address both customer and internal requirements. You will utilise your technical expertise to develop dashboards, create automated alerts, and design monitoring scripts using Python and AWS cloud technologies. Your role will be critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data solutions our client delivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve data-related questions and issues.

  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.

  • Conduct thorough data analysis to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards to visualise key metrics and performance indicators.

  • Develop and maintain automated alerts and monitoring reports using Python to detect anomalies and issues in real time.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

  • Continuously improve data processes and workflows to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

    Required Skills:

  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Python scripting for data manipulation and reporting.

  • Experience working with large volumes of complex datasets.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Solid understanding of software development processes and tools.

    Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools, such as AWS QuickSight or equivalent.

  • Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
