About the role

We’re seeking a talentedData Integration Developerto join our innovative IT team and help us revolutionise the way we connect data systems across platforms. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the efficiency and scalability of our data systems, utilising cutting-edge technologies such as Microsoft Azure, .NET, SQL, and C#. You will work on high-impact projects that streamline communication across the company and ensure seamless integration with clients and third-party systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive Data Integration Initiatives: Take responsibility for the design and development of robust data integration solutions that enable seamless communication between Insite and key third-party systems, including platforms like Guru, Paypoint, and c-things.
- Innovate with Cutting-Edge Technologies: Build and enhance integration tools and platforms, using Azure API Management Services, Logic Apps, Functions Apps, and SQL Server, to ensure data flows smoothly and efficiently across various systems.
- Develop Game-Changing APIs: Take ownership of developing, implementing, and maintaining APIs (both SOAP and REST) using Azure APIM, C#, and JSON/XML formats to integrate data seamlessly between platforms.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders, to understand integration needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Drive Data Quality & Optimisation: Manage the performance and optimisation of data systems, ensuring data quality, reliability, and integrity through proactive monitoring and root cause analysis of issues within SQL databases and integrated data systems.
- Deliver Impactful Reporting Solutions: Develop and manage essential reporting systems that support key operational functions, including customer bills, client reports, and internal reports using SQL Server Reporting Services and Excel Macros.
Location and working hours:
- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
- Office location: Moorgate, London (WeWork) with flexibility to work from home as agreed with line manager.
Required skills and attributes:
- Advanced technical knowledge in SQL, reporting, Azure, C#, Visual Studio, API creation, and management.
- Experience with Azure APIM (both SOAP and REST API), Logic Apps, Functions Apps, and .NET platforms (WebForms).
- In-depth understanding of data integration strategies, including API integration (native, MSGraph, custom APIs), and working with various data formats (JSON, XML, HTML).
- Strong knowledge of system integration techniques and tools, including Transact-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Database Administration.
- Proficiency in data analysis, performance tuning, and optimisation.
- Familiarity with setting up and managing monitoring systems and alerts.
- Familiar with Power BI reporting.
In addition, the candidate will:
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, PowerApps, and Postman.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and VBA Macros.
- Exposure to Sage 200 and other third-party platforms.
- Experience in working with Windows Server Administration, GP, DNS, DHCP, IIS.
- Knowledge of business continuity planning and networking (including VPNs).
- Have worked with AI implementations, an AI adoption with an understanding of machine learning and deep learning.
