A key client of OB, who are a pioneering venture, providing the financial and investment markets with technology consulting services are looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer to their best in class engineering team.


This is an incredibly exciting time to join a venture backed by two industry leaders in their respective field, and will come with a great opportunity to work on greenfield projects with the latest technologies in a tech focused environment.

They're looking for exceptional talent with the ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders, the ability to problem solve, as well as being highly motivated with the desire to push themselves to innovate and deal with complex problems and solutions.


Data Engineer - Python, SQL


Key Skills and Experience:


  • Prior experience working in a Data Engineering role (Financial Services experience a big plus)
  • High proficiency in both Python and SQL
  • Very strong academic background (2.1 minimum from a Russell Group University) in Computer Science or related field


This role is based in Newcastle City Centre with candidates require to be in 5 days a week and the successful candidate can expect a salary of £40k-£150k depending on your skills and experience. To be considered you must be UK based as sponsorship is sadly unavailable.
