Data Engineer/BA Python SAS/MDM Power Bi - GCP/Azure

A Data Engineer Python Business Analyst - contract 6 months with extensions likely

• Gather, organize and analyse datasets to provide Partners with insights to their Risk data
  
  
• Develop Data Dictionaries and maintain and validate Data reports for Partners and stakeholders
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand Partner business needs and queries
  
  
• Work with Operations and Underwriting Teams to log queries and improve Monthly Reports
  
  
• Resolve Partner Reporting queries and provide data-driven solutions to any issues raised
  
  
• Identify trends and patterns in data to support Data lineage and Partner Reporting processes
  
  
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout Data analysis and Data Reporting processes
  
  
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field (eg, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics) with strong Excel
  
  
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (or programming language) for data manipulation and analysis
  
  
• Experience with Master Data Management, Data Quality, Policy Data, Party Data etc
  
  
• Comfortable with working in Cloud Technologies Google GCP/Ms Azure etc
  
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  
  
• Experience in financial services or insurance industry is a plus
