Data Engineer – On-Prem, SSIS, SQL – £55k‑60k, Home Based

FinServ regulated environment. Full‑time, fully remote. Salary £55,000 – £60,000 plus benefits.


Key Accountabilities



  • Deliver high‑quality enterprise data solutions on Microsoft platforms.
  • Work closely with architects and senior data engineers.
  • Contribute to agile events.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Create technical documentation and release notes.
  • Conduct testing prior to release.

Experience Required



  • Previous experience in data engineering and business intelligence.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (ideally financial services).
  • Expertise in SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, etc.
  • Expertise with data pipelines and integrations (ETL/ELT).
  • A good understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, data normalisation.
  • Knowledge of data manipulation languages (T‑SQL, DAX).
  • Agile experience (ideally Kanban).
  • Power BI.

Knowledge of scripting languages and cloud technologies is an advantage; this role is mainly on‑prem.
