Are you passionate about data engineering and interested in helping develop the to next generation of data engineers coming through?


FIND are working with a multi-award winning Data & Business education business to recruit an additional Data Engineering Coach to their team.


As a Coach, you'll be responsible for training, coaching & mentoring cohorts of data apprentices through their Data Engineering apprenticeship programmes.


This is a fully remote working role – you can be based from anywhere in the UK.


What you'll be doing

  • Coach & Mentor:Provide personalised guidance and mentorship to junior/apprentice data engineers, helping them develop strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Train & Develop:Lead hands-on training sessions, workshops, and practical exercises, ensuring apprentices are equipped with the latest industry knowledge and best practices in data engineering
  • Build Foundations:Help apprentices master essential data engineering concepts like ETL processes, data pipelines, cloud platforms, and database management
  • Foster Growth:Cultivate a supportive learning environment where junior engineers can grow their skills, confidence, and careers.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Commercial industry experience within Data Engineering
  • Some form of previous Coaching or Training experience (even if informal) (Coach / Mentor / Trainer / Lecturer / Instructor / Teacher / Tutor)
  • Proficiency in tools like Python, SQL and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
  • Excellent ability to break down complex concepts and explain them in simple terms.
  • A passion for helping others grow
  • Eagerness to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering.



Salary is £60,000 - £77,000 & all work can be done from home.
