We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our IT department, focusing on Business Intelligence. You will play a crucial role in designing and building infrastructure to support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting‑edge analytical tools and ensure the stability and performance of data pipelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and configure data pipelines, platforms, and sources.
  • Integrate and validate new software and technical solutions.
  • Monitor and ensure the stability and performance of data pipelines.
  • Provide technical leadership to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with partners and business owners to address data quality issues.
  • Support existing business systems and BI via the Service Desk as needed.

About You

You possess strong capabilities in data management and in delivering data solutions that meet business requirements. You are proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to challenge preconceived solutions while maintaining awareness of future business and technology trends.


Experience

  • Proven experience in technical leadership and delivering technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions and data models, ideally within a manufacturing and distribution environment.
  • Experience with BI tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), Power BI, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory. Advanced T‑SQL programming and in‑depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with structured project management methodologies (e.g., AGILE, Kanban, PRINCE2).
  • Python and/or R programming.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft ERP products, especially D365.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals.

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (Desirable).
