The role is based in the Woolpit Head Office, and you will be expected to be on-site for three days a week. The other two days can be from home unless you prefer to work in the office full-time. They are at the beginning of this journey and are looking for an enthusiastic Data Engineer Data & Business Change who enjoys embedding new ways of working and showcasing their skills to drive change within the business. You will be joining a new team and will have the opportunity to contribute to both your peers and the wider businesseslearning, work with our external partner to embed our data strategy and help us lay the foundations for future exciting data projects. As part of the programme team, you will be working with other people who are passionate about bringing new ways of thinking around data to the business and will be well supported in exploring new directions of travel. This role is all about having the right mix of Data Engineer skills and experience together with a mindset that allows you to explore and influence how the programme can be shaped both technically and with business colleagues. You will be comfortable trialling new technologies and toolsets, and also working one-to-one with business colleagues. Degree within a technical or business-related discipline, or equivalent experience Proven experience designing and implementing engineering solutions to complex problems with usage of data mining tools and techniques Exposure to large and complex datasets, identifying efficiencies, required manipulation and governance Communication skills with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical audiences Inquisitive nature with strong analytical skills What is in it for you?
