Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 (Permanent)
Clearance: DV Cleared (Essential)
Working pattern: On-site 4–5 days per week, flexible hours

We’re partnering with a leading technology-driven organisation in Herefordshire seeking 7 Data Engineers to join a growing data and analytics team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain reliable data pipelines and APIs to support business intelligence, analytics, and application integrations.
- Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Work with structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring quality, integrity, and availability of data.
- Contribute to the development of data models and data architecture best practices.
- Implement and optimise ETL processes using Python and modern frameworks.
- Maintain clear and reusable codebases across Python and TypeScript environments.
- Support data governance, security, and compliance processes across all data workflows.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Active DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance
- Strong proficiency in Python and API development
- Experience or strong interest in data engineering, data pipelines, and automation
- Solid understanding of TypeScript / JavaScript and back-end integration principles
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data transformation techniques
- Comfortable collaborating in cross-functional technical teams
Desirable:
- Background in Data Analysis or Full Stack Engineering
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
