Data Engineer

Reperio are working with a small but well-funded startup who have plans to grow their Data team going into a busy 2025. As part of this they are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their high-performing team and play a pivotal role in building, maintaining, and optimizing our data infrastructure. As part of this role, you will design, develop and maintain ETL pipelines and optimise data models and database performance for analytics.
Requirements:
3+ years' experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related fields.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Hands-on experience with big data tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
Strong experience with AWS cloud platform
Expertise in building and managing ETL/ELT workflows.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Nice to have:
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of stream processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Flink).
Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Benefits:
