Data Engineer

£50k + £6k Car Allowance

Remote working 3x days a week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project delivery by developing digital tools and processes.

  • Work with the project team to create and maintain data infrastructure for business intelligence (BI).

  • Ensure data quality by identifying methods for data extraction, building integrations, and transforming data.

  • Maintain pipelines and optimise the efficiency of data operations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and interface with clients and other teams.

    Technical Skills Needed:

  • 2+ years experience in data engineering, with at least 1 year in Microsoft technologies.

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric (highly desirable) and DP-600 certification (preferred).

  • Proficient in SQL, data security, and version control.

  • Experience with Azure Key Vault, PowerShell, and tools like Dataflow Gen2.

  • Knowledge of data transformation and managing data within a medallion architecture.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate (optional but a plus).

  • Experience with Python, JSON, and R (a bonus, not required).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills for collaboration and client-facing work.

  • A commitment to learning and sharing knowledge.

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
