We're recruiting on behalf of an IT Services Provider who are looking for a Data Engineer to

to work on large scale digital & data solutions.

As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for:

Designing, developing, and maintaining data processing systems utilising the Hadoop framework to efficiently manage and analyse large-scale datasets.
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.
Develop modern data management tools automate processes and enhance data quality for the customer.
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Minimum of 6 years' experience working as a Data Engineer with demonstrated hands-on experience with Hadoop.
Hands-on experience building data pipelines using Hadoop components such as Hive, Spark, and Spark SQL.
Expertise with Hadoop
Good expertise on HIVE, Impala, HBase
Familiarity with data modelling and ETL processes.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in Financial Services (essential)
