THE ROLE

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure that process thousands of real-time signals, directly impacting customer experience and business outcomes.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Architecting and scaling data pipelines to handle high-volume, real-time data streams
  • Collaborating with backend and frontend teams to deliver new features and improvements
  • Ensuring data integrity and performance across the full data lifecycle
  • Contributing to a frugal, innovative tech stack in a fast-paced, autonomous environment


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a focus on real-time data processing
  • Proficiency in Python and modern data infrastructure (AWS, IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a strong understanding of the full data lifecycle
  • Background in e-commerce, recommendation systems, or ML is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
