My global client has an immediate need for a Data Curator on a 6 month rolling basis. In order to be considered for the position you will need to have proven experience of Omics or Clinical Data Curation. Key skills -

  • Authoring/Creating/Maintaining Controlled Vocabulary (CV) to support use cases including:
    • Environmental scanning of CV Landscape
    • Data profiling of source systems
    • Mapping source to CV's
    • Cross referencing to ontologies
  • Data profiling activities including:
    • Data profiling of source systems
    • Data quality assessment
  • Curation activities including:
    • Data harmonization to agreed standards
    • Applying data quality rules to the data
    • Enriching the data with CV's & URI
    • CV and data curation
  • Support for the establishment of a data curation community including the creation of guidelines and tooling
