Responsibilities

Oversee the data infrastructure to extract and organize data for authorized individuals to access. Assess, design, and manage the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Identify and actively track internal and external data sources. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine and validate their data needs. Maintain appropriate hygiene in the CMDB. Advocate for a data architecture aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines and the firm's technology strategy and principles. Report on the data architecture status across the firm with IT Service Management functional leads, key business services, and appropriate governance and leadership forums. Establish a data architecture working group framework to ensure documented requirements are clearly drafted and standardized. Support the triage and prioritisation of new or changing requirements, tracking and documenting decisions, and oversee the implementation of work into production. Produce documentation and plans to firm standards, ensure deliverables are met, facilitate audits and exams, control risks and issues, communicate status, and account for evolving requirements through change processes. Manage the data design of the firm's CMDB through the operationalisation of the CSDM. Collect, support the triaging of, track, and recommend solutions to new or changes to data requirements. Publish and present the CMDB design and data movement architecture reports. Audit the CMDB regularly to assess compliance with the approved design and hygiene compliance. Identify areas for improvement in current systems' data architecture. Coordinate with platform, archiving, data quality, and data security management teams. Coordinate with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines. Work with business partners, functional/support group partners, and stakeholders for process management and assurance evaluation. Prioritise work and drive milestones to timely execution. Raise issues, risks, and concerns timely and appropriately to stakeholders. Document and track change control milestones and tasks for multiple projects and programs. Develop an effective network of relationships across technology divisions with their data management subject matter professionals.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data architect or leading a team with a data architect. Minimum of 2 years of experience with ServiceNow. Experience working with Incident, Problem, Request, Change, Release, IT Asset, Knowledge, and Reporting functions as related to data management. Active participation within and among teams and colleagues distributed globally. Good problem-solving skills, particularly a methodical approach to dealing with problems across distributed systems. Adaptability to fast-changing demands and environments. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a creative and flexible approach to problem solving. Understanding of various technology system implementation methodologies (, waterfall, agile). Strong time management skills. Good verbal and written communication skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Project). Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Attention to detail. Experience within financial industries, technology teams, or consulting to financial industries and technology teams. Program Management and/or Agile development experience or certification. ServiceNow Admin and ServiceNow developer training and certification. ITIL experience or certification.
