We are currently partnering with a local council to recruit a Data Analyst. This role is pivotal in driving the strategy of business, focusing on data analytics around waste and recycling. Key Responsibilities: Analyse data related to waste and recycling to support strategic decision-making. Interpret, validate, and cleanse data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Stay updated with current legislative changes around data in the waste industry. Contribute to statutory reporting, with a focus on Waste Data Flow. Ideal Candidate: Proficient in Excel spreadsheets at an intermediate/advanced level. Good understanding of databases at an intermediate level (not creation or programming, but a solid grasp of their components). Experience in data analysis within a waste management setting. Familiarity with current legislative changes in the waste industry. Experience in statutory reporting, specifically Waste Data Flow, is highly desirable. Skilled in interpreting, validating, and cleansing data as part of the analysis process.
