Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with expertise in ServiceNow and Asset Management to join our dynamic team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data related to IT asset management, using ServiceNow to optimize business processes, and providing actionable insights. If you have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data tools, and hands-on experience with ServiceNow, we want to hear from you!

Manage and analyze data related to IT assets and inventory, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Utilize ServiceNow to monitor and track IT asset lifecycle, from acquisition to decommissioning. Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards on asset performance, usage, and costs using ServiceNow and other data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, finance, procurement, and other departments to support asset management processes. Identify trends, patterns, and insights in large datasets to inform decision-making and optimize asset utilization. Assist in the development of data models and workflows within the ServiceNow platform. Provide insights on risk, compliance, and cost-efficiency in asset management. Participate in audits and ensure adherence to data governance and IT asset management policies. Maintain and improve the accuracy of the asset management database by performing regular data quality checks.

Your Profile

Good Years of experience as a Data Analyst, with specific experience in ServiceNow and Asset Management. Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and best practices. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Asset Management module and reporting capabilities. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau). Strong SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets. Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (Python, JavaScript) for data extraction and manipulation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets. Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
