Overview

Data Analyst with current SC Security Clearance is required to work for our central government client to provide technical, analytical, and strategic support across a range of business and reporting functions.


The Data Analyst role will require a combination of advanced analytical skills, strong stakeholder management, and technical expertise in Microsoft 365 and BI tools. The Data Analyst will play a key part in developing reporting standards, improving performance visibility, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organisation.


Responsibilities

  • Proven experience operating at Senior Data Analyst level (aligned with the UK Government Digital and Data Profession framework or equivalent).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, particularly: SharePoint, MS Project Online, Power BI (or similar BI tools), Excel (advanced functions, modelling, and visualisation) and SQL Server
  • Experience working with major systems such as Salesforce CRM, Oracle, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques, able to produce clear, compelling, and insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Skilled in change management and impact assessment, considering the broader business implications of system or process changes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organisation and planning abilities, comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.
  • Confident in decision-making, backed by data and evidence.
  • Acute attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data accurately and present it clearly.
