About the Role

We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Data Analyst – Pricing to be a part of our expanding Commercial team in the UK! As we continue to grow both steadily and swiftly, we're embarking on numerous new projects.


For these ventures, we require an enthusiastic individual who can leverage data‑driven insights to optimise pricing decisions and drive measurable commercial value across our product range.


About You

As a Data Analyst – Pricing at Mous, you'll work collaboratively with our Commercial and Data teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a fast‑paced, data‑centric environment, playing a crucial role in refining our pricing strategy, improving automation, and driving pricing experiments that impact company profitability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse pricing decisions, both RRPs and discounts, to identify optimisation opportunities
  • Form hypotheses around pricing strategies and test them through structured experiments
  • Build and maintain pricing dashboards to uncover actionable insights
  • Automate pricing processes with basic scripting and data tools
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Data, Commercial, Marketing) to streamline pricing processes
  • Own and improve the pricing algorithm to maximise commercial performance

How will success be measured?

  • Full ownership of the pricing algorithm, including continuous improvements and documentation
  • Demonstrable understanding of our pricing strategy and its interaction with marketing within the first 3 months
  • Delivery of provable incremental CM2 through pricing tests and optimisation initiatives within the first year

Skills requirements
Hard skills:

  • Strong mathematical background, with a degree in Engineering, Maths, Physics, or Economics from a top university
  • Analytical mindset and ability to draw insights from complex datasets
  • Competency in Excel or similar tools for quantitative analysis

Nice‑to‑have:

  • Experience with SQL, R, or Power BI

Soft skills:

  • Personable and collaborative; able to work well with others across departments
  • Confident yet humble, eager to learn and grow
  • Clear communicator with strong problem‑solving ability

We expect people to come into the office at least three days a week but some teams opt for more as it’s beneficial for their workflow.
