Data Analyst Apprenticeship - Kent

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our outstanding team within Information Services. This post will play a key role in maximizing the potential of the data we collect, to improve patient care and services across Wales.


The post holder will cover a range of areas, including providing analytical, modelling and data processing support, as well as responding to information requests to provide data, run reports and develop dashboards through the application of analytical and data handling skills. The successful applicant will need to be able to work under pressure, be responsive to fast moving deadlines and maintain positive, constructive relationships with a wide range of individuals and organisations and be able to prioritise their own work.


Experience & Qualifications

Experience and a working knowledge of the following is expected:



  • NHS datasets
  • SQL/Big Query
  • Power BI
  • Python/R
  • Analysing large and sensitive datasets
  • Managing stakeholder requirements and expectations
  • Problem solving
  • Proficient communication (verbal and written)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a strong team and can demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high-quality service.
