Job Overview

The data analyst will support the team with ensuring that the data that goes into the systems we use (such as FFT / Civica and Datix) are as up to date as possible. They will also ensure that the reports we pull from datix and later Qlik view have the most up to date data inputted.


Main Responsibilities

  • Managing the inputting and exporting of data for the whole of the patient experience team.
  • Pulling out reports from both Datix and the portal for Picker and Civica to ensure the teams have the most up-to-date information regarding surveys and patient safety.
  • General administrative duties to help with the whole team including (but not exclusive to) PALS, complaints, patient engagement and volunteers.
  • Submit reports to the patient experience lead, the corporate deputy chief nurse and the divisions.
  • Identify trends or anomalies which may require escalation to alert seniors where there might be support required to respond to enquiries.
  • Supply ad hoc data as and when required for the team, always double checking on requests from divisions.
  • Extract data from any systems used by the Trust (e.g. Datix and Civica) to input into reports to support the understanding and monitoring of all enquiries coming through the Patient Experience Team.
  • Analyse the data and support teams, services and divisions to understand what is required for PALS and Complaints to ensure they meet the Trust’s KPIs.
  • Prepare reports in response to ad hoc enquiries, recognising the particular requirements of the request and producing information in a variety of appropriate formats.
