The What...

As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Analyst to ensure the accuracy and integrity of operational data used for reporting and analysis. You will also provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to optimise performance and drive efficiency.

Here's some of what you'll be doing;

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Develop and enhance our suite of reports to provide deeper business insight.
  • Analyse operational and marketing data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities — turning insights into recommendations that improve performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to understand their reporting needs and deliver tailored, engaging dashboards and insightful analyses.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that promote data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the Head of Data Analytics with innovative AI and machine learning projects that elevate the customer experience.

Data Infrastructure:

  • Help develop and maintain the data infrastructure supporting our BI reports and analytics, primarily within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
  • Integrate new data sources and optimise existing data pipelines for performance and reliability.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and governance.
  • Continuously monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement across the full data stack — from ingestion to reporting.

  This role is based 4 days at our Hemel Support Office and 1 day working from home.

The Who...

To be a successful Data Analyst, you'll have:

  • Relevant experience or recently graduated from a data-related training programme
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
  • Confidence with Power BI (or a similar BI tool) and data visualisation best practices.
  • Experience building or maintaining data pipelines and transforming raw data into meaningful outputs.
  • Curiosity about AI and ML techniques and how they can improve business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communication skills — able to tell stories with data.

Desirable experience:

  • Experience in the leisure or retail industry.
  • Hands-on experience building or optimising Power BI models, including DAX.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices related to data engineering.
