The Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract (6 months) to join RAPP.

  • The role reports into the Senior Analytics Partner, who leads a team of eight Analysts responsible for various audience segments. You will be mentored by a Senior Analyst on a day-to-day basis.
  • You’ll work closely with the Data Planning team to deliver analytical projects and solutions, build insights, and develop test plans. You will also support the Data Strategy and Account team.
  • You will work on a particular segment of the audience base, while developing an understanding of the base as a whole to see the flow across the client landscape.
  • Responsibilities include: regular contractual reporting; forecasting of campaign DM and email volumes; post-campaign evaluations; audience profiling; customer journey and behavioural analysis; deeper dive analytical projects; identifying opportunities to deploy data creatively.
The Opportunity
  • You’ll work on one of the largest accounts in the agency.
  • You will contribute to driving marketing objectives and strategy, overseeing the implementation from data briefing to media delivery and performance analysis across multiple channels.
  • You’ll join a large, supportive team dedicated to this client plus the wider agency creative teams. We have won several awards for our work.
  • Data, insights, and performance are at the heart of our work, spanning data strategy, segmentation, UX, Customer Experience strategy, loyalty, and creative. This role offers a strong foundation to learn or hone end-to-end customer journeys.
  • You’ll have fortnightly one-to-one meetings with your manager to discuss objectives and development.
Role Requirements
  • Currently in a similar Data Analyst role with experience in SAS, SQL, and Excel.
  • Ability to think laterally about applying data to solve business problems.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data extraction for analytics.
  • Highly numerate, logical thinker with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of test-and-learn techniques in a marketing environment.
  • Well-developed organisational skills and ability to cope with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Results-driven with ability to apply insights to future activity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly.
  • Collaborative, positive team-player attitude.
  • Added bonus: familiarity with R, Python, Power BI, Power Pivot and Query.
