The Data Analyst plays a crucial role in bolstering and upholding the reliability of our system data infrastructure. This position requires a proactive stance towards validating data, guaranteeing its dependability for informing strategic business decisions and reporting. Additionally, the Analyst will spearhead the creation, evolution, and oversight of advanced Power BI dashboards, while also making substantial contributions to system and process improvements. As the focus on data analytics continues to expand, proficiency in Python and SQL is now indispensable for streamlining tasks and uncovering profound insights.


Responsibilities

  • Work as data expert, proficient at navigating available data and selecting the most relevant analytical techniques
  • Provide expert opinions on segmentations and root cause analyses.
  • Deliver optimal customer intelligence data products/providing powerful insights that empower data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience conducting A/B experiment and leveraging statistics to deliver results
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality analysis
  • Actively mentor and coach junior data analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, best practices, and peer review within the team.

Required skills and experience

  • Advanced Google Standard SQL and MySQL or similar relational database language
  • Fluency in Python and its application in data analysis
  • Familiarity with Google BigQuery or other data warehouse solution
  • Experience with Tableau; creating & managing data sources and converting complex insights into a digestible format
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics or other web-based analytical tools (e.g. Heap Analytics)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong sense of commercial awareness that enables you to translate data into real outcomes for users & the business
  • Strong strategic capability, to use data to identify growth opportunities, and formulate plans to achieve a set of defined goals, objectives, and key results (OKRs)
  • A strong ability to communicate findings to stakeholders in a concise and engaging manner
  • Able to succeed in a high-performance environment where multiple projects are run in parallel
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to forge strong cross-functional relationships
  • Eagerness to learn & develop new skills
  • Knack for consultancy mode delivery of projects
