JobSummary:

To support themodernisation of the People Directorate s services throughdeveloping and leading the delivery of a vision for integrationorganisation management and application of the department s dataincluding data visualisation and business intelligence (BI) andleveraging value from that data in coordination with the Council sCEX department the Assurance and Service Improvement Manager andmanagers across Community Connections and RetainedClient

KeyDuties/Accountabilities:

Articulatingand delivering vision and strategy for the collection recordingmanagement and use of all sources of data to support the PeopleDirectorate functions and realise value from data(30%).

The design anddelivery of solutions for the management of and reporting data thatare innovative resilient user friendly and interactive. Identifyingand embedding best practice in data management and analysis(40%).

Deliveringmentoring and training to staff to realise high value from thewealth of data collected including enabling staff to input and usedata systems in the most effective way.(10%)

Supportingwider corporate initiatives around digitalisation and datamanagement.(10%).

Lead for thedepartment on engagement with external and internal initiativesaround digitalisation and data.(10%)

EssentialExperienceRequired:

Projectmanagement of data management or digitalproducts.

Identifyingeffective solutions to service/business problems and to theorganisation of complex and extensive datamanagement.

Collatinganalysing interpreting and graphically presenting data anddeveloping innovating data management systems andproducts.

Training andcoachingstaff.

Working withand interpretingdata.

Establishingand maintaining performancesystems.

EssentialKnowledgeRequired:
