Data Analyst Contract - Evesham (hybrid remote)

We have an urgent requirement for a Data Analyst for one of our US clients with a new offcie in Evesham, UK. You will take responsibility for extracting data from their SQL database, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the Power BI data analysis tool.

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extensions. For the first 3 months you will be focused on the data extraction from their SQL database and generating meaningful reports from this. Going forward you will also be involved in data cleansing and managing their master data.

3 months (initial contract)
Hybrid-remote (Leeds)
£250/day (Outside IR35)
Start date - ASAP

Data Analyst Responsibilities:

Data extraction from the clients SQL database.
Writing reports across various ERP systems
Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.

Data Analyst Requirements:

3+ years' experience as a Data Analyst or a similar position
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science (not essential).
Experience extracting data from SQL databases.
Experience writing up reports using extracted data.
Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
