The Opportunity

Leonardo UK, has an excellent new opportunity for a Joint Avionics Service (JAS) Data Support Analyst Based at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire who is looking to progress their career within a world class engineering organisation. You will join a highly skilled team within the Customer Support and Services Solutions CS3) line of business and play a key role in back office operational technical support, forTyphoonTotalAvailability eNterprise (TyTAN) JAS, supporting the Typhoon Fast Jet. You will report directly into the Service delivery manager for TyTAN JAS.

What you’ll do as JAS Data Support Analyst; 

Retrieving, structuring and analysing operational, engineering and logistics data to enable monitoring and optimisation of the spares and repairs chain performance Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards Feeding data analysis into Service Delivery and Project Engineering managers and associated teams, to aid in performance monitoring and decision making. Liaising with various departments including logistics, field engineers and QA. Working closely with our JAS Partner, BAES, to maintain single source of truth of in service support data Provide support into future bid activity for follow on JAS Contracts Working with the back office support teams to review defects and provide analysis against in service support data. Support the wider JAS team with utilising dashboards and other data analytical techniques to ensure decisions are data driven Interface with the CS3 Digital team to facilitate tool development, by defining requirements and supporting verification process Working with internal and external stakeholders in establishing support strategies and conducting of support modelling tasks. – Against the current contract and future contracts. Contribute to continuous process/procedural improvements to help improve efficiency and remain competitive in industry

We would like to hear from youif you have a combination of the following

Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or equivalent experience. Relevant experience applying the principles of Supportability engineering and standards. Knowledge of the logistics and engineering activities required to support complex Defence or Aerospace products Experience of working with Engineering Project Managers and Integrated Project Teams (IPT’s) Experience of gathering, analysing and drawing insights from data to produce current and forecast projections Technical competence in creating data visualisations that provide a clear representation of complex data The ability to work independently and as part of the wider TyTAN JAS team Familiarisation using Power BI, Power Apps and Data Analysis Tools. Considerable level of expertise with Excel, PowerPoint and Word Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders from a wide range of organisations, disciplines, cultures and seniority Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem solving and driving challenging issues to conclusion Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with an ability to influence and adapt according to changing demands

Intrinsic factors.

This role will be predominantly based on site at RAF Coningsby. There may be potential for a level of flexible working from home through agreement with Line Management. Occasional travel to Leonardo/customer sites/training centres within the UK and potentially abroad.
