The Role

As Data Analyst within our newly created Reporting and Analytics function, you will partner with the Engineering Team Lead for Reporting & Analytics to deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders and clients.


Responsibilities

  • Hands‑on data analysis, insights generation – 80%
  • Customer and user engagement – 20%
  • Create metrics‑based benchmarks and visualizations to demonstrate fraud detection and enforcement impact.
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to enhance data accessibility and clarity.
  • Develop data‑driven recommendations for platform efficacy improvement, protecting consumers and brands through operations data optimization.

Qualifications

  • A love of data, analytics, and problem solving
  • Hands‑on experience in data and insights focused roles
  • Solid SQL coding; proficiency in Python highly desirable
  • Experience with ClickHouse environment a plus
  • Understanding of data modelling tools like dbt a plus
  • Knowledge of key statistical analysis and data mining techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to translate complex data tables into actionable information
  • Curiosity and desire to learn
  • Experience with data warehouses and BI tools such as Google Looker, Metabase, PowerBI (or similar)
  • Customer‑centric mindset – deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to uncover future opportunities, including modern technology and new ways to combat evolving scammer behaviour.
