Description
As our Data Analyst, you'll be the architect of our data infrastructure, transforming complex data streams from across the business into a roadmap for success. In close partnership with the Digital Director and liaising with other functional leaders, your expertise will be the linchpin in refining our processes and procedures, enabling us to become a more efficient and data led business, thereby enhancing the quality of care and education delivered to the young people we look after and educate.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with both our operational and central function teams to understand business needs and objectives.
- Select, configure, and implement analytics solutions
- Develop and execute Esland’s business intelligence strategy for effective data analysis and reporting.
- Extract data from multiple sources and business applications to create a consolidated data warehouse
- Develop, refine, and maintain BI solutions, dashboards, and reports for maximum insight and impact.
- Perform sophisticated data analysis to identify trends and opportunities, directly informing opportunity and identifying potential risks
- Evaluate and integrate advanced BI tools, keeping abreast of industry trends to maintain our competitive edge
- Present insights to stakeholders, sparking collaborative dialogue to improve our optimisation processes and strategy.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A qualification in Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience extracting data via API is desirable
- Experience working with The Access Group systems including Access Workspace is highly desirable
- Analysis and creation of data pipelines, data architecture, ETL/ELT development and with processing structured and unstructured data (Azure Data Factory is desirable)
- Experience working within a Healthcare environment handing sensitive data
- A history of success in business intelligence, showcasing your ability to turn data analysis into meaningful insights
- A comprehensive knowledge of visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
- A strong understanding of SQL and data warehousing
- Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to transform complex data into compelling stories and strategic recommendations
- A strategic, curious mind that thrives on uncovering the narratives behind numbers and translating them into business growth
