We’re currently recruiting for a Data and Reporting Analyst to join our growing team within Oren Environmental based out of the Coal Authority Office.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

As our Data Analyst, you’ll be accountable for monitoring the telemetry system and running contracted reports to the Coal Authority in addition to providing insightful analysis to the Operational and Commercial teams within STS.

You’ll monitor the telemetry system daily for alarms raised or potential issues that the operational teams need to be aware of and provide contracted reports, ad-hoc reporting & analysis to support improvement across the Coal Authority contract.

Additionally, you investigate and resolve comments and/or queries raised by the Coal Authority or internal teams and support the Data team in relation to managing:

Logger data. Laboratory / Chemistry data.

You’ll also take ownership of the Information Hub & Comms Cell related measures, identifying issues and trends using analytical knowledge and tool sets to bring these to the attention of the Operational / Internal teams to drive performance improvement across the Coal Authority contract.

The other key accountabilities of the role are:

You’ll investigate and resolve comments raised by the Coal Authority against contracted reports and data and be responsible for providing timely performance reporting across the contract. Provide insightful performance analysis that highlights root causes and drives improvements and communicate the results of your analysis to a range of stakeholders across diverse levels. While actively monitor trends in performance data and identify actions and solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

To succeed in this role, you’ll have experience providing and creating clear/concise reports, interpreting complex or large volumes of data and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

You’ll also have the ability to identify issues effectively, present data in a visual engaging format and have very strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
