We have a permanent opportunity to work or well established and well known client in Tamworth for a Data Analyst reporting into our Finance Director. The role is working Monday to Friday at our amazing office, you will also work across our other sites . You’ll be fundamental to leveraging data to enhance our visitors' experience, optimize operations, and support strategic decision-making. This position requires a balance of advanced technical skills, the ability to conduct in-depth analyses, and the capacity to communicate clear and impactful results. As an employee you will enjoy extensive benefits, full support in your role and you will be joining a fantastic business as we embark on the next chapter of our journeyYour responsibilities as a Data Analyst will include but not be limited to; Maintaining existing reports and dashboards Analysing needs and obtaining validation from user teams To determine project plans and appropriate resources Collecting, preparation, and analysing data Ensuring ongoing delivered solutions and data quality Working in collaboration with our holding company Lopping’s Data Analyst What’s in it for you as our Data Analyst? You will be working a 40-hour week generally Monday to Friday with some flexibility required Fun benefits to be disclosed at Interview stage 30 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays Wellness program Key Skills as a Data Analyst Degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related Previous experience of 5 to 10 years as a Data Analyst and/or Data Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, R, or Strong problem-solving and critical thinking Knowledge of PowerBI would be Key Attributes as a Data Analyst Team Spirit: Work closely with various teams within the group to solve problems and improve Intellectual Curiosity: Be passionate about continuous learning, stay updated with industry trends, and be open to new methods and technologies. Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-experts and to work in partnership with colleagues with diverse skills.
