We expect you to have demonstrable experience and expertise in at least 1 programming language, whether that is Python, JAVA, SCALA or something else. Experience of the following is desirable, but not essential: Scala Linux Git Elastic search Hadoop Spark Bin/ Bash Ansible Experience of Agile and Test Driven Development Exposure across the Big Data landscape with practical experience of products and toolsets Understanding of SOA & high-level IT architecture Knowledge of focal entity resolution Your key responsibilities Analyzing data sets and designing and coding stable and scalable data ingestion workflows and integrating into existing workflows Working with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide the appropriate solution Configuring updates to the UI in line with requirements Coding in line with agreed standards Unit Testing Working closely with the Programme Manager and the Programme leads to deliver change in line with Technology strategy.
