Data Analyst - short term contract 4-6 weeks initially

Manchester but can be almost fully remote. Outside IR35 £200 - £250 p/day

If you're at a loose end for a couple of months and are a versatile Data Analyst with experience of Kleene and Snowflake I'd be really keen to talk to you. My start up client is looking for someone to help them identify and organise types of data reports needed. These reports fall into three categories:

Strategic Reports: High-level summaries for executives.

Operational Reports: Detailed insights into specific areas like clients, educators, and exceptions.

External Reports: These are for clients but will be developed later (in a future phase).

Data Load: The task is to reconnect the client’s data systems (using the Kleene tool) with Snowflake, their data storage platform. The Freshdesk connector needs to be set up, and credentials confirmed to pull data into the system.

Data Warehouse: The data needs to be organized in a way that makes reporting easier and more effective.

This involves:

Structuring data into facts and dimensions (which means categorizing data for different views).

Ensuring data can be counted and aggregated correctly for reporting.

Report Development (Phase 1): The development of initial report templates that will be integrated into PowerBI, a reporting tool. The reports will cover both strategic (high-level) and operational (detailed) areas. Some examples include:

Strategic Reports: A report for the Board and an Exceptions report (flagging issues).

Operational Reports: These include comparisons between clients, educator reviews, module performance, error reports, and learner outcomes.
