Overview

Element is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team on an 18-month fixed-term contract, supporting our certification business at Warringtonfire. In this role, you will contribute to the development of both existing and new certification schemes by leveraging internal and publicly available data. You will play a key role in driving data-led decision making, identifying trends, and improving business performance through advanced data analysis and visualization.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand analytics needs, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights
  • Analyse complex datasets to answer key business questions and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualisations using data from multiple sources
  • Design and implement scalable data acquisition and integration processes
  • Build and maintain databases and develop scripts to enable flexible data evaluation
  • Source and manage data from primary and secondary sources
  • Provide forecasting, capacity planning, and operational metrics to support business growth and planning

Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role
  • Strong ability to analyse complex datasets and identify trends and growth opportunities
  • Experience using data to support Business as Usual (BAU) operations and strategic decision making
  • Strong analytical skills including data mining, evaluation, and visualisation
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel, with the ability to learn additional analytics tools
  • Experience designing databases and analytical models, including segmentation techniques
  • Practical experience with statistical analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, or SAS
  • Programming experience with relevant analytical frameworksBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working in team-oriented environments
  • Knowledge of the TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) industry is advantageous
  • Working from home contract
