Description

In 2024 we’re transforming Pasta Evangelists into a truly data-driven organisation.

In a fast-paced industry, a ‘Best In Class‘ BI team will be crucial if we are to grow as quickly in the next 3 years, as we have in the previous 3.

Having invested heavily in consolidating data across all aspects of our business and rebuilt our Power BI reporting suite for all verticals(Takeaway, E-Commerce, and e-retail), we now have a strong foundation to surface the insights to drive growth.

What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists:

  • Own and optimise our Takeaway PPC and Marketing Offer strategy to grow order volume.
  • Enhance our modelling to identify the optimal locations for additional restaurants across the UK.
  • Evolve the models to improve the accuracy of order forecasting across the business.
  • Support Finance and Commercial with pricing and basket value optimization.
  • Grow our data-driven culture and coach stakeholders on how to surface the insights they need to drive day-to-day operations.
  • Analyse customer feedback on our products and recommend changes to our Food NPD team.
  • Continue to develop clear, concise, and insightful reporting and data models that will allow our stakeholders to self-serve.
  • For a candidate to succeed in this role, they must be able to produce insights, in addition to building the dashboards.
  • Support the design and development of new data warehousing.
  • Collaborate with co-workers and management to implement operational improvements.

Who you are:

  • Computer Science, Finance, Business graduate or similar.
  • Highly competent with Power BI and DAX

  • ... A pasta lover!

What we can offer:

  • Competitive salary to attract the best talent
  • Join a dynamic, fast-moving & diverse team
  • Regular team socials and pasta tastings, as well as occasional trips to ‘il bel paese’
  • Free Pasta Evangelists products

Pasta Evangelistswas born seven years ago out of a desire to become the authority in fresh pasta. We’re on a mission to reimagine and elevate pasta as a category, which is worth a staggering £3.8bn yet has seen little innovation for decades.

Since launching our original fresh pasta recipe kit service in 2016, we have built a cult following of British pasta lovers – our Evangelists – who are passionate about discovering the breadth and variety of pasta, as well as the irresistible stories behind it.

Today,Pasta Evangelists is backed by Barilla(the world’s biggest pasta company) and is proud to be theUK’s biggest pasta brand by revenues, as well as one of the UK’s fastest-growing startups. In addition to our website, our recipe kits are also available for customers to purchase through major online retailers like Ocado & Amazon Fresh. Londoners can also treat themselves to fine Italian dinings at ourhigh-end Harrods Pasta Bar, or learn to make our signature dishes from scratch at our viralPasta Academy, where we welcome thousands of pasta lovers every month.

Most recently, we’ve been busy disruptingBritain’s pizza-centric Italian takeaway marketwith a brand new fresh pasta takeaway concept, available onpastaevangelists.comas well as major delivery players likeDeliveroo, UberEats and JustEat. With more than 40 kitchens across the UK, we’re expanding coverage to new cities on an almost weekly basis (including our first openings inScotlandandWales!). We've also opened theUK's biggestpastificio(which, in Italian, means pasta factory, but 'pastificio' better reflects the type of fresh, artisanal pasta we produce) in Acton, West London, allowing us to make ever more exciting and ambitious pasta and sauces for our customers.

Given our ambitions, we are looking for exceptional professionals to lead our business through its next growth chapter.
