• Takeon a challenge in the RBS International Data Management team,in which you’ll contribute to the analysis of RBSInternational business outcomes and key data elements (KDEs)to identify data quality issues, as well as business issues relatedto people, platform and processes
• We’ll look toyou to manage RBS International's  business outcomes, providehigh quality analytical input to help develop and implementinnovative data profiling solutions, processes and resolve problemsacross the bank
• This is a hands on role inwhich you'll hone your statistical and analytical dataanalysis expertise and gain valuable experience in a dynamic areaof ourbusiness

Whatyou'll do

As a Data Analyst,you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high qualitybusiness solutions. You’ll be performing data extraction,manipulation, processing and analysis, using the RBSInternational Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud based dataquality detection engine and bank data profiling solutions,alongside developing and performing standard queries to ensure dataquality and identify data inconsistencies and missingdata.

Day-to-day, you’ll alsobe:

• Managing RBSInternational's business outcomes
• Collecting,profiling and mapping appropriate data to use in our AWS Cloudbased data profiling solution as well as for ongoing dataactivities
• Maintaining and developing the RBSInternational AWS DQ Detection Engine Business Rules and RulesRepository used for data profiling 
• Helping to develop Tableau dashboards topresent statistical and analytical data quality results toExecutive Data Owners (EDOs)
• Working with otherRBS International business areas in the identifying anddocumenting of data migration paths and processes, standardisingKDE naming, data definitions, modelling and attending the NatWestGlossary Working Group
• Helping to interpretcustomer needs and identifying operational risk issues, turningthem into functional or data requirements and processmodels
• Building and maintainingcollaborative partnerships with key business stakeholders,including data domain leads, EDOs and EDO delegates

Theskills you'll need

We’relooking for someone with experience of using data analysis toolsand delivering data insights within a technology, data management,or data analytics function.

Detailed knowledgeand evidence of application of, AWS, Structured Language Query(SQL), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) is an absoluterequirement for thisrole.

We’ll also lookfor:

• An in-depthunderstanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple datadomains
• A background in delivering researchbased on qualitative and quantitative data across a range ofsubjects
• Excellent communication andinfluencing skills
