Role Details

Customer Data Analyst – SAP

Project duration: 3‑6 months (extension possible)

Location: Remote with occasional on‑site in London

Day rate: £250‑£400/day (Outside IR35)

We’re supporting an exciting strategy and technology consultancy looking to bring on a freelance consultant to strengthen their team. The role requires deep understanding of the Customer Master Data Domain, particularly in SAP, and will work under the guidance of the Data Lead to support a range of projects within a large FMCG organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Ongoing documentation management and testing of Customer Master Data process and design changes
  • Analysis and profiling of Customer Master Data in readiness for future SAP S/4HANA cleansing and migration
  • Analysis of Customer Master Data requirements for harmonisation and standardisation to support M&A and business integration activities
  • Drive resolution for cross‑functional issues that can potentially occur for Customer data in these projects
Requirements
  • Independent consultant
  • 5‑7 years of experience in data management & governance, based on core SAP ERP technologies (SAP ECC & S/4HANA, SAP MDG)
  • Preferably with similar business context (Consumer Product Goods or Foods & Beverages)
  • Good experience with customer‑related functional data processes such as Sales & Distribution, Logistics, Retail Execution
  • Familiar with using Data Governance tools (e.g., Collibra) and Data Quality analysis (e.g., SQL), fluent in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel

Consulting levels considered: Consultant, Senior Consultant, Manager.
