Responsibilities

As a Data Science and Analytics Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the day to day production of insight and analysis using Data Science techniques and models on behalf of the Customer Service Operation. You’ll be supporting the broader team by taking a lead on and identifying tasks as assigned to you by the Leadership team, and you’ll also plan, design and deliver the data, visualisation and insight needed to enable business transformation.

You’ll use advanced analytics, machine learning, and visualisation tools to uncover trends, predict behaviours, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Leading data science projects aligned to business priorities.
  • Using SQL, Python, DAX and other tools to build models and deliver predictive insights.
  • Developing a deep understanding of customer needs and operational data.
  • Collaborating with analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to build feature stores and deliver impactful analysis.
  • Coaching peers and stakeholders in data science techniques and tools.
  • Presenting insights using Power BI and supporting continuous improvement across the team.
Key Skills / Qualifications
  • Significant experience in data science, analytics, and engineering practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX, R and statistical modelling is essential.
  • Experience working in Agile frameworks and customer contact environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business goals into technical requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Experience with DataOps and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Comfortable with interpreting data to deliver factual business commentary to our customers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and innovative-minded.
  • Demonstrates thoughtful leadership qualities with strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and a collaborative mindset, alongside clear aspirations to grow into a future leadership role that inspires others and drives positive change.
