Contract Data & Controls Specialist - Markets

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Data & Controls Specialists to join a leading Markets team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role focused on data integrity, risk and control implementation, and regulatory compliance within market infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build, run, and operate end-to-end controls for market products.
  • Perform control analysis and build tasks (90-95%) and collaborate with Markets SMEs for review and approval.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, operating models, and IA expectations.
  • Interpret and validate Trade/Transactional data for Markets.
  • Engage with market business stakeholders to drive robust risk and control frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6-12 years' experience in Markets with:
      • Practical Markets product and business knowledge.
      • Strong understanding of data flows and market infrastructure.
      • Proven risk and control experience.
      • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and operating models.
  • Ability to understand and interpret data meaningfully, especially Trade/Transactional data.
  • SQL and Python proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
