Principal Compute Software Engineer – AI Edge

Location:Remote in UK

The Role:

The company seeks aPrincipal Compute Software Engineer – AI Edgeto drive compute software architecture and optimization. This role involves mapping compute applications to hardware, enhancing performance, and collaborating with internal teams and customers to shape the AI/ML roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop software architecture for AI/ML workloads on high-performance hardware.
  2. Optimize compute performance and prototype new features.
  3. Define the compute software roadmap in collaboration with product owners.
  4. Work closely with internal teams and customers to address technical challenges.
  5. Lead the development of AI/ML capabilities for next-generation GPUs.
  6. Contribute to industry-wide standards, APIs, and frameworks.

What the Company is Looking For:

  1. 5+ years of experience in compute-intensive software development.
  2. Expertise in microprocessor development tools, compilers, and debuggers.
  3. Strong knowledge of GPU/accelerator software architecture.
  4. Experience optimizing AI/ML applications for hardware accelerators.
  5. Understanding of system-level software and hardware interfaces.
  6. Strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and hardware optimization.
  2. Understanding of GPU compute architecture and AI/ML workflows.
  3. Familiarity with automotive and embedded AI applications.
