Scope:

Akkodis is launching a new technical delivery team to drive a UK national programme in collaboration with key partners, designed to transform and future-proof the central government's workforce. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, strategic partnerships, and a comprehensive SaaS-based platform, this programme will create an advanced, candidate-centric experience tailored to meet tomorrow's public sector skill demands.

Through redesigning, building, and rolling out a sophisticated Big Data system, our diverse roles span architecture, project management, data analytics, development, and technical support. Role:

As part of this mission, the Azure / 365 Cloud Engineer role is essential for managing and optimising an organisation's cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and Office 365 platforms.

This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions, ensuring their performance, security, and scalability. The Azure / 365 Cloud Engineer will collaborate with various IT teams to support cloud-based applications and services, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for cloud management.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and maintain robust cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of cloud environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support and optimise cloud-based applications and services.
Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues, implementing effective solutions promptly.
Implement best practices in cloud security and data protection to ensure organisational compliance and integrity.

Required Skills:

Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 administration, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of implementing and maintaining cloud security measures to protect data and applications.
Strong understanding of visualisation, networking, and storage within cloud environments.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues effectively and efficiently.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders effectively.

Required Experience:

3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
Hands-on experience with cloud management tools and IT best practices.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert are highly desirable.Required Education:
