JOB TITLE: Clinical Systems Data Analyst / System Administrator

ACCOUNTABLE TO: IT Manager


WORKING HOURS: 40 hours a week


LOCATION: Working across all PJ Care sites

We are seeking a Clinical Systems Data Analyst/System Administrator. This is a permanent and Full-time position covering all our locations. The Clinical Systems Data Analyst/System Administrator will Develop/Support/Integrate Company Data Systems, administer the effective use of all IT, systems and equipment across the organisation The right candidate will reflect the PJ Care values of Care, Compassion and Commitment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To proactively engage in development management and support of Company data systems.
  • Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business analytics dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies such as SQL, Power BI, or other appropriate platforms, etc.
  • To understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.
  • To create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI.
  • To analyse data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making.
  • To design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis.
  • Ability to communicate with business as well as technical teams.
  • Ability to learn and quickly respond to rapidly changing business environment
  • Be up to date about the best practices and advancements in development and design
  • Multitasking and interpersonal skills
  • Documenting, designing, and modelling solutions and explaining, representing, and discussing the same with the team
  • Applying experience and knowledge to future solution considerations
  • Have an analytical and problem-solving mindset and approach
  • To manage company relationships with third party SASS suppliers
  • Monitor and coordinate with third parties where necessary the resolution of faults in systems

Secondary Responsibility

To assist, manage, and administer the Company’s electronic systems, networks, and equipment as directed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas:



  • Computer Networks and Associated Hardware/Software – Oversee installation, deployment and commissioning, regular maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of company networks, servers, software systems and related infrastructure.
  • Desktop Computers – Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, user support, and system upgrades for all desktop workstations.
  • Portable Computing Devices – Includes laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. Tasks involve provisioning new devices, configuring security settings, providing end-user support, performing software updates, and managing repairs or replacements.
  • Telephony Systems and Equipment
  • VOIP and Other Telephony Networks – Manage the setup, maintenance, fault resolution, and performance monitoring of voice communications systems.
  • VOIP and Telephony Equipment – Oversee installation, troubleshooting, updates, and user assistance for all telephony hardware.

Printers and Photocopiers – Responsible for installation, ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support for all company printing and copying devices.


Other Network or System Equipment – Administer, support, and maintain any additional equipment deemed part of the Company’s electronic systems or networks, as required.


Experience

  • Current and Verifiable Experience in an IT environment

Skills and knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft365 Platforms
  • Proficient in use of PowerBI and other relevant Data Analytical Platforms
  • Current experience of development of API links across Database platforms
  • Proficient in the use of Access Care Planning and other Care or HR related Platforms
  • Level 3+ qualification in Information Technology related subject
