What you'll be doing: We're currently recruiting a dedicated Chef Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Chef Manager, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work.   1. To be responsible for the overall efficient and effective management of the contract to ensure great quality, consistent food and beverage services across all areas
  2. To maintain positive client relationships
  3. To ensure the smooth planning of the contract and resources to deliver a first-class service to our clients and customers
  4. To be responsible for the management, recruitment, development and training of team members
  5. To ensure the contract is fully compliant with company policies and procedures
  6. To deliver on the agreed financial budget and run commercially in line with net income and cost targets

Who you are: Our ideal Manager will:

  1. Previous experience in contract catering
  2. Experience of leading and managing teams to deliver results
  3. Track record of growing sales and retaining business
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  5. Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and engage teams
  6. Ability to liaise with colleagues, customers and clients at all levels
  7. Quality and process driven with particular focus on delivering results
  8. Compliant with Company policies and procedures in line with client agreements
  9. IT Literate (MS Office, Email)
