Business Product Owner, Data Analytics, Azure, Data Engineering, AI ML at Buy Local Sundridge Ltd based in Central London. This role is mainly remote with occasional travel to London, Europe and the United States.


Responsibilities

  • Lead product backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization in an Agile (SAFe or similar) framework.
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure seamless product execution.
  • Track, analyze, and interpret KPIs to guide continuous product improvement.
  • Translate complex technical concepts for engineers, business partners, and senior leadership.
  • Drive innovation by leveraging advanced analytics, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

  • Technical proficiency with Azure services (Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric) and Databricks for data engineering, analytics, performance optimisation, and governance.
  • Backlog management expertise: maintaining and prioritising product backlogs, writing detailed user stories, and collaborating with development teams.
  • Agile product ownership experience with SAFe or comparable frameworks.
  • Cross‑team collaboration across engineering, analytics, and business domains.
  • KPI management: ability to track, analyse, and interpret KPIs to guide product improvements.
  • Solid understanding of modern data platforms, medallion architecture, AI/ML applications, and cloud‑native infrastructures.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to various audiences.
  • Experience working with distributed teams in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
  • Passion for leveraging advanced analytics, AI, and cloud technologies to deliver cutting‑edge solutions.
