About Phoenix Data, Analytics and Insight Team:

This is a transformative and exciting time to be part of the Phoenix Data, Analytics & Insight (DA&I) team. We are embarking on a bold journey to reimagine how data is used across the business — from laying strong modern data foundations to unlocking powerful insights and shaping AI-driven innovations that will help to support our ambitious growth plans.

We’re building a high-performing, forward-thinking team with a fresh structure, modern cloud-based technologies like Microsoft Fabric, and a clear focus on delivering business impact. Whether you’re passionate about data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, or automation, you’ll be joining a team where your ideas will shape the future of healthcare logistics and pharmacy services in the UK.

You’ll be empowered to make a real difference, working on meaningful projects that improve decision-making, drive efficiency, and help our colleagues and customers thrive.

About the Role:

As Business Intelligence Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming how Phoenix UK uses data to drive insight and decision-making.

Leading a skilled team of BI Developers, you’ll shape and deliver our BI strategy, ensuring data is accessible, impactful, and aligned to the needs of teams across the organisation. You’ll champion the development of scalable BI solutions and data products that bring clarity, consistency, and value to the business.

As a key member of the data leadership team, you’ll promote best practices, lead by example, and help embed a truly data-driven culture across Phoenix UK. This role demands a strong blend of commercial acumen, technical expertise, and the ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and develop our Business Intelligence capability, aligning it with our broader Data, Analytics & Insight strategy. Lead the development of a industry leading reporting and insight platform for 3rd party organisations we partner with (manufacturers, customers, partners). Oversee the development and maintenance of our Microsoft Fabric reporting platform. Lead the development of self-serve analytics tools for our colleagues, enabling teams to access and utilise data effectively, whilst maintaining a single source of truth. Partner with teams across the company to define and meet reporting and analytics needs. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, ensuring BI solutions support strategic initiatives and drive growth. Utilise the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to improve processes across the business and remove legacy systems (MS Access). Lead, mentor, and grow a team of BI developers. Support the development of the Phoenix DA&I strategy as a senior member of the team.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven leadership experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics, ideally within a large, fast-paced organisation. Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including report creation, advanced DAX, M scripting, and data modelling. Hands-on experience delivering impactful data products using the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on business value. Experience leading a reporting platform migration to Fabric / Power BI. Strong technical skills in SQL, data modelling, dashboard development, and data visualisation. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for all audiences. Excellent project management and prioritisation skills, with a track record of aligning BI initiatives to strategic business goals.

Machine‑Learning Jobs for Non‑Technical Professionals: Where Do You Fit In?

The Model Needs More Than Math When ChatGPT went viral and London start‑ups raised seed rounds around “foundation models,” many professionals asked, “Do I need to learn PyTorch to work in machine learning?” The answer is no. According to the Turing Institute’s UK ML Industry Survey 2024, 39 % of advertised ML roles focus on strategy, compliance, product or operations rather than writing code. As models move from proof‑of‑concept to production, demand surges for specialists who translate algorithms into business value, manage risk and drive adoption. This guide reveals the fastest‑growing non‑coding ML roles, the transferable skills you may already have, real transition stories and a 90‑day action plan—no gradient descent necessary.

With the launch of Quantexa AI Studio in February 2025—bringing generative AI co‑pilots and large‑scale Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) to the platform—the company is hiring at record pace. The Quantexa careers portal lists 450+ open roles worldwide, over 220 in the UK across data science, software engineering, ML Ops and client delivery. Whether you are a graduate data scientist fluent in Python, a Scala veteran who loves Spark or a solutions architect who can turn messy data into knowledge graphs, this guide explains how to land a Quantexa machine‑learning job in 2025.
