What does the role involve?

Reporting to our Head of Data Insight and Automation, you will be responsible for designing and delivering operational and business management reporting suites and actionable insights to all business areas to effectively support the strategic goals of the business.


This is a hybrid role where you will be required to work from our Staines office a minimum of 2 days a week with the likelihood of this being 3 days per week during training - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Applicants must be located within a commutable distance of our Staines office and be available to work full days on-site.


Some Of Your Key Duties Will Include

  • Fielding adhoc data requests through inbox management and overseeing day to day interaction in response to data questions delivering solutions using Power BI or SQL queries
  • Responsible for delivery of management reports within Power BI across BF - ensuring accuracy & consistency of all internal & external customer facing data & reports
  • Engage with customers to ensure ongoing introduction and development of new and updated reporting - building an in depth knowledge of the customers purpose, success factors and processes
  • Support the management team in analysis and in-depth investigation of issues and problems within the function to ensure consistency and robustness of data

What are we looking for?

You’ll possess a strong capability to communicate effectively across various levels and enjoy working in collaboration with multiple teams. You’ll have an excellent eye for detail and be able to demonstrate exceptional problem‑solving skills and approach challenges with a logical mindset.


Also, We're Looking For The Following

  • Experience working within a business data team to define data requirements and deliver reporting solutions in Power BI and Databricks
  • Experience and knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Databricks and database structures
  • An inquisitive mind in looking at ways we can improve our reporting capabilities
  • A real eye for detail and ability to highlight and resolve data queries

Asset Finance knowledge or experience within a regulated environment is a plus!
