We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bill of Materials and Master Data Analyst to join our team and support the successful delivery of our ERP implementation project. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and maintaining the integrity of product data across engineering and production functions. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our digital transformation journey, ensuring that data foundations are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on optimal BoM structures and master data governance aligned with ERP capabilities and manufacturing / assembly industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data ownership, workflows, and validation protocols.
  • Support the development of scalable data models that accommodate future growth and product complexity.
  • Create, maintain, and validate BoMs and master data across legacy and ERP platforms.
  • Manage engineering change documentation and support ECR processes.
  • Assist in data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness during transition to ERP and PLM systems.
  • Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and IT to resolve data-related issues and improve workflows.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on data processes, tools, and standards.
  • Maintain clear documentation of product data, changes, and governance processes.
  • Provide basic training or guidance on project tools and processes to team members.
  • Adhere to Swift Group policies and procedures and be an advocate of our EPIC Core values.

Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data handling.
  • Adaptability to a fast‑paced and changing environment.
  • Problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify and address potential issues promptly.

Knowledge And Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • Previous involvement in ERP/PLM implementations and/or data migration projects.
  • Hands‑on experience with legacy systems and transitioning to new platforms.
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering environments preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience in BoM creation, Master Data management, and ERP/PLM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of engineering change processes and documentation standards.
  • Experience in training or onboarding teams to new systems and processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; experience with DevOps, Jira, or similar tools is a plus.
