BI Business Analyst - £55K - £65K
Dudley based - 1/2 days per week
Manufacturing industry - working with ERP System data (JDE, QAD, IF, SAP)
This brand new Business Analyst role will join a growing Data team and will be working with key stakeholders across the different divisions to identify and document the corporate reporting and KPI requirements. You will the translate these into detailed technical specifications for the Development team to deliver.
Key requirements:
Previous experience working on data warehousing / business intelligence projects
Have a reasonable level of data and technical understanding of the process to build data warehouses and the tools used (ideally experience of working with data and these tools in previous roles).
Ability to document requirements in a clear and concise manner.
Ideally experience working in the manufacturing industry or with ERP system data (JDE, QAD, IF, SAP etc)You will be:
Working with a variety of business stakeholders across all business divisions to identify and document the key corporate global reporting and KPI requirements.
Translation of the corporate reporting requirements into KPI definitions and detailed data specifications.
Working closely with the project Data Engineer and Data Warehouse Manager to review the existing data models and data transformations in place for the legacy GDW, identifying where the logic and transformation rules can be reused, and where new data sources and transformations are required.
Creation of the ETL specifications for the development team.
Testing of the data warehouse and data models validating data loaded against the specifications.You will be the sole BA in this team so having the ability to work independently is key.
