Behavioural DeveloperLocation: LondonSalary: CompetitiveThe Corporate Access and Research area is seeking an outstanding Associate Developer to strengthen its Behavioural Analytics team.The RoleYour role will be to build on the team's qualitative linguistic analysis by leveraging new technologies (such as LLMs) or traditional NLP methods to help their equity portfolio managers better manage their investments. This role is great for someone with a passion for programming and application development who looks to apply themselves in an impactful field. You will get to build your own solutions from scratch, solving real business cases for your colleagues. Those with a background in computer science, generative AI or linguistics are encouraged to apply. * You will work with the latest Generative AI technology to mirror the qualitative linguistic analysis of the Behavioural Team. * Create a dashboard to visualise the Behavioural Teams data and create interesting insights for the portfolio managers. * Research and test other applications of linguistic methodologies to the financial sector, for example Phonetics, Computational Linguistics, Language and AI. * Support the investment team on all matters related to behavioural/linguistic methodologies. * Develop internal tools to automate and assist the team and share data across the fund. * Collaborate with internal developer teams to build robust and secure applications.Skills and Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with a strong academic background. * Proficiency in Python. Experience with SQL and AWS is a plus but not a necessity. * Experience with Generative AI. An interest in NLP or traditional machine learning is a plus. * Experience with dashboarding solutions (e.g. Streamlit, Tableau) is a plus. * Structured and self-driven, with a strong initiative to bring new ideas to the table. * Analytical creativity and intellectual curiosity with a strong attention to detail. * Proficiency in written and spoken EnglishBenefitsThey offer everyone at the fund competitive pay, an engaging work environment, and an opportunity for personal growth and development.
