Are you a skilled Back End Python Engineer looking for an exciting freelance opportunity in London? Develop Recruitment is seeking a talented individual for a 12-month contract with our consultancy client, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing their data infrastructure and back-end systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable back-end systems using Python, focusing on microservices architecture and modern deployment technologies like Kubernetes and AWS.
Optimize REST API architecture to enhance performance and reliability.
Design and implement efficient ETL pipelines, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data solutions.
Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Key Requirements:

Advanced proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
Strong command of cloud technologies, specifically AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, EC2, RDS).
Solid experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and data engineering tools (PySpark, Databricks).
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Demonstrated ability to work with version control (Git/GitHub Actions) and CI/CD workflows.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or similar credentials.
Proven experience in a data engineering or back-end development role, ideally within a consultancy or fast-paced environment.
A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
